Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Nanquidno Valley is a stones throw from the Atlantic Ocean and the South West Coast Path, lying between St Just and Sennen Cove. The views over to Cape Cornwall and back to Sennen Cove provide constant interest and the ancient Iron Age village on the edge of the valley is still visible after 2000 years. The attraction of the valley for walkers, birdwatchers, artists and photographers goes with out saying, but it also offers an excellent base for a stay exploring the whole of West Penwith. With a five minute journey to the beaches of Gwynver and Sennen Cove in one direction and a five minute drive to the town of St Just in the other, Nanquidno provides the ?middle of nowhere? feel without the inconvenience.
